Synaptiks LLC. is a locally (Maryland & Pennsylvania) owned wire and cable distributor who set up shop in 2017. When Synaptiks came to me, they already had a great name, but they also needed a great image to secure their branding. The look I designed for Synaptiks was my way of bringing the classic industrial business aesthetic to the present day. For the logo icon, I wanted to reflect the idea of of machine synapses with a simple mark that would be understandable and interesting. The S icon in the Synaptiks logo evokes an antique, machine, feeling while remaining sleek and modern in form.
